Resting In The LORD’S Peace

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

- Psalms 23:2

There are times we get too busy in our daily lives and in our ministry work of God that we forget to take time to rest and rest in the Him. Our focus is to keep our eyes on God and His Word and not ourselves and the things we desire, because He is the supplier of ALL our need (Philippians 4:19).

Our rest in Him is as the green, fresh pastures where we just lie down and feel His comfort, for the Holy Spirit is our comforter. Even in a stressful situation, we are to rely on Him and step back into His peace. His peace is available to us at ALL times.

God wants us to rest like the still waters (waters of quietness) and not be hindered by thoughts and distressful things and that we rely and trust Him as we rest in Him and allow Him to take care of any cares as we cast ALL our care upon Him for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).

Let’s remember to take time and rest in the LORD allowing Him to refresh and restore our life and renew our strength.
